Mysore practice 29/8/19

Today I didn’t want to wake up. My body felt tired. I thought it was because of moon day. But I got up around 5:50am and got ready. When I arrived at the shala around 6:35am Lynne was there. Around 6:45am I started. When I was on the mat, I actually felt quite good. My body felt light. Today Lynne focused a lot on my feet. To ground my feet well, she pointed out 4 points on the soles of the feet. She helped me with utthita hasta padangusthasana and I could already feel that I was much more stable with this focus on my foot. Ardha baddha padmottanasana also felt stable. Lynne also mentioned my stance is a bit too far in utthita trikonasana. Her push on prasaritta padottanasana C was really nice. Seated was all good. Sometimes I paused to breathe slowly. I was sweating a lot and my heart was going crazy. Navasana is getting better although the tailbone area is still not good. In bujapidasana I put a lot of focus on having my back round. I read it from other people’s practice journal that they focus on this. Indeed it felt slightly different. After supta kurmasana and transition, I again tried to round my back and... my jump back felt really nice! I could fold both legs almost at the same time and I felt my body was higher than usual. Nice! In garbha pindasana my right hand is coming closer to the ear.. but it will still take some time. All the rolling up was fine. In pashasana I could again hold my fingers together but my heels were off the mat... Shalabhasana felt really hard today. My back bend was okay but I could feel that I don’t have much strength in my legs. When I did drop back practice... I couldn't come up!!Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think Lynne saw my frustration/embrassment and she said sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not.... Grrrrr I felt little bit sad because I really enjoy this practice but today I couldn't do it. The last one was with Lynne's help and it was okay. She gave me a good push in paschimottanasana. Closing sequence was good and I did 30 breaths in sirsasana and 15 in half bend. I still felt somehow energised (irrespective of my poor drop back practice) and my utplitih was a bit higher than usual. I took a 7 min savasana. I thanked Lynne (she again stressed on strong feet and hands contact to me and said I should always focus on this because I give classes too. It was super sweet of her <333333 ) and talked briefly with Monica and congratulated Anne for her birthday :-) I was a bit frustrated about the drop back and come up practice but nonetheless it was a very nice practice.
