My dedicated Ashtanga practice began in my late 20s, though I was first introduced to yoga as a child through my mother, a Hatha yoga teacher. While living in Brussels during a period of depression and low self-esteem, I discovered the transformative structure of Mysore-style Ashtanga—a practice that became my anchor through seven challenging years of IVF treatments. ​
