Mysore practice 4/6/19

I woke up earlier than my alarm. I was maybe a bit nervous of being late. So today was my first Mysore practice with Nick. I am keeping my practice with Anne and Lynne but wanted to try also with Nick :-) I arrived around 6:40 and there were already people. I told Nick that I practice till shalabhasana but will need help in pashasana. I placed my mat on the back left corner. Somehow my body felt light and good. I thought I might feel a bit weird practicing Mysore in a new environment but it was good. At least I was used to the room. There were a lot, a lot of people. I was a bit shocked and felt sorry for Nick because he was explaining a lot to some students. I guess it will get better with time. I got his adjustment in supta kurmasana. OMG. It felt so easy with his hands-on. I felt so comfortable in there haha. And during this practice, I did all my chakrasanas. Very crappy, in my opinion, but still.. hehe Pashasana.................... was also crappy but did it anyways with Nick’s help. I should really practice more on this. Now... dropback...... Today... was the day I did drop back alone. Nick pushed me to do it alone. First two, I got help when dropping back and other three times I dropped alone. But coming back was still..... tricky. I needed his help to come up. It was an amazing feeling dropping back alone! The feeling of accomplishment was sweet. I just need to engage my legs more to come up alone. Theory I know, I just need to practice more. Anyways it’s a happy day! I stayed about 20 breaths in sirsasana and 8-10 in half bend. I stayed long 10 breaths in utplitih. Another grateful practice, thanks to another great teacher.
