I left home around 5:55am like two other days. I slept well but my stomach felt weird. I got to the stadium, and was waiting again in the beginning of the queue. Today there was a new crowd, maybe those who attend only for the weekend. Penelope came and sat next to me. We talked a bit and entered the room. I place my mat again toward the left of the room but this time on the first row! I was giving a sign to Penelope to do the same :-) We sat and talked about the practice. She’s been practicing since young age and also studied with Pattabhi Jois. It was impressive to hear her stories :-) Sharathji came and we sat there silently waiting for his ‘samsthitih’. My stomach was still weird but it was okay. Again I felt my hands were almost reaching to the ground in prasaritta padottanasana C. Today’s utthita hasta padangusthasana was bad! Grrrrr I once lost my control on the right side open leg grrrrr I quickly re-grabbed my big toe and it was okay. Left side was better (as always). My left leg was shaky in ardha baddha padmottanasana but the right one was okay. All the seated asanas were good but navasana... today I folded my mat as my normal practice. My sacrum was less hurting but it was still difficult to straighten the leg by the end. I did okay till 4th but the 5th one was killing me. Sharathji was right in front of me almost till the end of navasana! Grrrrr supta kurmasana was okay like usual. I grabbed my fingers each other but ankles were still not crossed. I should learn to do this alone. Garbha pindasana tolling was done slow and I was happy with this change. Is usually roll very fast but this time, I could roll by sharathji’s counting. Again I didn’t hit anyone in any asana today. Setu bandasana was done with a bit more than usual pressure on my neck. All the chakrasana was also done at 1 or 1.5 breath. Urdhva dhanurasana was really good. I felt so good in this asana. I just can’t wait to practice drop back soon. When in sarvangasana, my stomach felt really weird and dangerous........ but I finished all the sequence and came to sirsasana. Again I felt so strong and felt I could stay here forever. Half bend was delicious :-) Today’s utplitih felt longer than those two days. Ah we skipped nadi shodana today. Anyways... it felt super long but I stayed off the mat all the way. I am getting stronger both mentally and physically. We had to take a really short Savasana.. like 30 seconds?!, as those who practice intermediate series had to get in. I talked to Penelope briefly and with Giuseppe as well. I saw Nick so wished him a good practice. It was really nice to see him here :-) I really can’t wait to see the intermediate practice on Sunday. It was another beautiful and grateful practice regardless of my weird stomach!!
